Usage
Opening the Panelâ
Type the following command in-game to open or close the Vice Wheel settings panel:
/wheel
Settings Panelâ
The panel has two tabs â Axes and Buttons.
Axes Tabâ
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Device | Select your steering wheel from the detected devices dropdown |
| Steering axis | Assign which device axis controls steering |
| Throttle axis | Assign which device axis controls throttle |
| Brake axis | Assign which device axis controls braking |
| Deadzone | Ignore small axis movements below this threshold (0 â 0.30) |
| Smoothing | Smooth out axis input to reduce jitter (0.05 â 1.0) |
| Sensitivity | Scale the steering input multiplier (0.1 â 3.0) |
Click SAVE SETTINGS to persist your settings. They will be automatically restored next session.
Click RESET to restore all values to their defaults.
Buttons Tabâ
Bind wheel buttons to in-game actions:
- Click the slot for the action you want to bind (e.g. Horn)
- The slot will enter listening mode â press the button on your wheel
- The binding is saved automatically
To clear a binding, click the â button next to the slot.
Available bindings:

| Handbrake | Applies the handbrake |
| Look Left | Camera look left |
| Look Right | Camera look right |
| Indicator Left | Left turn indicator |
| Indicator Right | Right turn indicator |
| Clutch | Clutch input |
Live Dashboardâ
While the panel is open, the left side shows a live visual readout:
- Steering wheel â rotates in real time to reflect your steering input (up to Âą450°)
- Steering angle â exact angle in degrees
- Throttle bar â live throttle percentage
- Brake bar â live brake percentage
- Steer bar â bidirectional bar showing left/right steering position
Status Indicatorâ
The status chip at the top of the panel shows your current connection state:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
CONNECTED | Wheel detected and active |
NO DEVICE | No compatible device found |
DISCONNECTED | Device was disconnected mid-session |
If your wheel isn't detected, make sure it is plugged in and its drivers are installed before launching FiveM. Try unplugging and replugging the wheel, then reopen the panel.
