Usage

Opening the Panel​

Type the following command in-game to open or close the Vice Wheel settings panel:

/wheel

Settings Panel​

The panel has two tabs — Axes and Buttons.

Axes Tab​

Steering axisAssign which device axis controls steering
Throttle axisAssign which device axis controls throttle
Brake axisAssign which device axis controls braking
DeadzoneIgnore small axis movements below this threshold (0 – 0.30)
SmoothingSmooth out axis input to reduce jitter (0.05 – 1.0)
SensitivityScale the steering input multiplier (0.1 – 3.0)

Click SAVE SETTINGS to persist your settings. They will be automatically restored next session.

Click RESET to restore all values to their defaults.

Buttons Tab​

Bind wheel buttons to in-game actions:

  1. Click the slot for the action you want to bind (e.g. Horn)
  2. The slot will enter listening mode — press the button on your wheel
  3. The binding is saved automatically

To clear a binding, click the ✕ button next to the slot.

Available bindings:

Live Dashboard​

While the panel is open, the left side shows a live visual readout:

  • Steering wheel — rotates in real time to reflect your steering input (up to Âą450°)
  • Steering angle — exact angle in degrees
  • Throttle bar — live throttle percentage
  • Brake bar — live brake percentage
  • Steer bar — bidirectional bar showing left/right steering position

Status Indicator​

The status chip at the top of the panel shows your current connection state:

tip

If your wheel isn't detected, make sure it is plugged in and its drivers are installed before launching FiveM. Try unplugging and replugging the wheel, then reopen the panel.
